Skate Class Competition Rules and Reference Materials

Skate class competition at national, state and club levels is governed by the following rules and documents:
1. Racing Rules of Sailing 2025-2028 (Blue Book) Download
2. Australian Sailing Special Regulations Part 2 - Off The Beach Boats (Effective 1 July 2024) Download
3. Skate Sailing Association of Australia (SSAA) Special Rules (Updated July 2025) Download
4. Host Club special rules as reflected in the Sailing Instructions.
The Notice of Race and Sailing Instructions for the Skate National Championship are prepared as specified in PART 4 of the SSAA Special Rules,
with content and format aligned with Racing Rules of Sailing Appendix J - Notice of Race and Sailing Instructions.

are available for download to simplify the process of preparing compliant and informative documentation for the National Championship or any other regatta.
